These photographs capture the quiet beauty of Cologne's historic Melaten Cemetery during a winter snowfall. Weathered stone monuments, religious sculptures, and snow-covered pathways are blanketed in a fresh layer of white. The collection features sacred funerary art including stone crucifixes, prayerful angels, and moss-covered mausoleums amidst frost-tipped trees. I wasn't prepared for snow. So some of the photos are a little soft.
